Action Gator Gives in Your Community
Action Gator Tire has been serving central Florida for over fifty years, not only with quality tires and auto repair services but as an integral part of the communities in which we do business. Action Gator Tire has been giving back since the beginning, and we’re proud to support our communities in any way we can.
Periodically, we use part of our profits to support various local and nationwide initiatives. In the past, we’ve given to organizations for breast cancer awareness and research, domestic violence awareness, prevention, and comfort, autism awareness, and research, seasonal food drives, and food and shelter drives for our furred, feathered, and finned friends. These fundraising events are a great opportunity to get together to share a good time, great food, live music, and radio broadcasts, and family-fun, strengthening community bonds while increasing awareness and funding for those most in need.
We’re grateful to all our faithful customers who’ve taken part by choosing us to service their vehicles, but we want to do more. That’s why Action Gator Tire has consolidated our charity initiatives and community involvement under a singular name: Gator Gives.
This brand-new initiative kicked off with the Action Gator Tire grand opening party, August 4, 2018, to celebrate the opening of the Lakeland Action Gator Tire location. Aside from entertainment, food, and games, this was a chance for Lakeland area residents to get to know the company and its offerings, as well as nominate families in need.
- Safe transportation is such an important part of our lives, but needy families often have to choose between the lesser of two evils – food and rent or tires and oil changes. The first Gator Gives winners were announced September 24, 2018, two families in need who would receive a new set of four tires and a 12-month maintenance package, worth up to $2,500. No doubt, tires, and maintenance can be expensive for working families, and Gator Gives is a chance to help some of them get reliable and safe transportation.
We’re pleased to support our communities, and we’re sure you want to get involved too. Fortunately, supporting Action Gator Tire’s charity initiatives, fundraisers, and the Gator Gives program is easy. Consider us for all your tire, brake, maintenance, and repair needs, especially during fundraising times, when your service dollar does the most good. Also, Gator Gives nominations are several times each year in all the communities Action Gator Tire serves.
